Loki Want to use a different printer manager

Hi:
The default printer manager that comes with Loki is too automatic and doesn't let you to tweak the printer configurations, and it feels unstable. I want to use the same one that is in Freya: system-config-printer. The app is already in the applications folder. So, how do I go about to replace it? Thanks.

 

This is not my expertise field, but I think it's switchboard-plug-printers you want to uninstall.
