Loki Updates not working

    Hi Folks,

    For some reason I'm unable to update this. It's only 25.3 MB(29 components). I get the message 'waiting for package manager lock', but this disappears and the updates do not happen.

    I've never had any problems with standard Elementary updates before.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    does it simply work after a reboot maybe?

    Unfortunately, no. The one update is still pending.

    Hi nick67,

    can you try open your terminal and copy-paste this line:

    Code (Text):
    sudo dpkg --configure -a
    Enter your password, enter. After that, just try again your updater tool.
    It should re-configure some packages which maybe are the reason, why it is "locked" for you.
