I have installed elementary os loki on a macbook pro alone without OSX and since I know there are problems with AMD drivers and I have HD 6750M I also installed rEFInd for booting choice and added a lot of flags for grub as stated here https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2157775 The options displayed on rEFInd where: Boot EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi from 285Mib FAT volume Boot boot\vmlinuz-4.40-66-generic.efi.signed from 457 GiB ext4 Boot Linux (Legacy) from whole disk volume I thought only FAT volume could boot me into elementary os with AMD disabled but at first vmlinuz from ext4 which didn't have AMD disabled could boot me into elementary os. refind My doubt comes with that after an update as I kept using ext4 boot my graphic card started failing during videos and finally I couldn't boot anymore on to ext4 version, furthermore rEFInd screen began lookin striped, ext4 version shows awful colours on screen and FAT boot shows a red striped screen before getting into elementary os. Do you know what could this be? Is this an AMD problem? Thanks
