When I boot up in Windows 10, I have a stable connection. However, on Elementary OS my wired internet connection randomly drops out. When I push the 'wired' switch off and then back on, the connection is back up.

Can anyone help me figure this issue out? Thanks in advance.

    Troubleshoot info

I have a brand new CAT5 cable going less than 10m straight from the livingroom up to the attic.
