Greetings. I've been trying to add the Monaco_Linux.ttf font by putting it into /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ and since this did not work i created a .fonts folder in the home directory but that didn't work either. My problem is that when i try to set any IDE or text editor (geany, codeblocks, sublime...) with this font, it appears in the list of fonts as "monaco" but i can't select it, it just automatically selects other font (cousine). I've already tried with the font viewer by clicking the install button, but not even this method worked. A curious thing is that the only program that not just let me select the font, but also works perfectly fine is LibreOffice writer. I want to emphasise that i was able to use the named font with no problems in other Linux distributions. Thank you.
