OS Freezing

    OS is habitually freezing my entire screen after about 45 minutes into use and then the fan kicks on and continually runs. Only thing I can do is to shut the laptop off. Running OS 5.0 Juno on Quad Core Intel Pentium laptop.

    I recently installed JUNO and get somewhat similar problem.
    I have a dual screen desktop setup and my VGA second screen locks up or stutters when i put a youtube video on there and try to make it fullscreen.
    this doesnt happen when i go full screen on my other widescreen gaming display, just my regular vga screen. my vga screen is not the main display either.
    do i need to buy a new HDMI display? or can this be fixed somehow?

    I'm having the same issue, i installed Elementary OS Juno 5.0 in a laptop - ASUS VivoBook x505B - AMD A9-9420 - Radeon R5 M420 (2Gb) - HD 1 Tb - RAM 8 Gb - Could someone help me with some answer or solution to the problem?

    reinstalling loki will probly fix our problems.
