Hello, I am brand new to Linux - and my Windows 10 PC failed needind a reformat so thought I would try a dual boot. The installation was very difficult, with lots of these USB errors, I then changed the BIOS setting to turn of legacy USB and they went away - however only the USB 3.0 ports work (which is annoying because I only have two) Everything was working fine - and I was getting into things, when this happened. There are so many errors here I am not sure if they are related, or coincidental - anyway, it won't boot anymore. The installation process was quite tricky so I decided to come on here first rather than attempt a reinstall.
A small advance ... I booted into "recovery mode" and chose repair packages, and now the errors are just USB related - but I don't into the GUI
Apologies - I didn't realise Stack Exchange was for all help, I thought it was just for pro's and power users
