    Hi there!

I'm running elementary on an Acer c720 which has dedicated media keys.
These media keys are are detected by the system as F1-F10 and for most of them, I can't get them working.

With Freya, I just configured them as custom keys in the system settings and used xdotool to do the rest. With Loki, I can't activate plain F-keys in the system settings. Some searching later I found the possibility to change keys with the dconf editor. It already has predefined multimedia actions as "volume-up"/"volume-down" where I just replaced the original command.
Unfortunately other keys are not as simple since I can't find predefined actions. Do you have an idea on how to fix other keys (back, forward, reload, ...). I guess I'll have to define custom shortcuts using xdotool in the dconf editor, but so far, I have not managed to get it working.

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards,
    Fo
