When i first installed 'ele' i hated that locked desktop, but now i've come to love it. It makes me put things away in the right places. My desktops never looked so tidy for so long.
YES ! Thnak you, that's the point, working on a clean desktop is essential for me. I'm so glad that the team kept that despite all the chat around !
I was used to locked Desktop since 0.2, evenn though back in the days you could enable Desktop I haven't checked gconf for awhile if it's able to unlock it.
