Asking for the key board lay out should be the first question while installing, at least before you set any password. Took me a couple of installations before I found out that the password I had given to encrypt my hard disk was taken as if I had an English key board, while I actually have a German mac keyboard. So of course my password never matched. If to implement this is too complicated, there should be at least some sort of disclaimer explaining this sytuation. Thanks
