Help installing Kodi Krypton

    Hi all,

    Just installed Elementary OS today and want to install Kodi Krypton 17.3 on it following this guide http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_for_Linux

    However it is not the new Kodi installed.could there be something in the sources.list or elementary.list that needs adjusting? I have near 0 knowledge on Linux so please bear with me while i try to work my way around :)

    change

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa

    to

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/unstable

    should do it.

    You might want to remove the current ppa by using first:

    sudo apt-get install ppa-purge ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
