Hi all, Juno 5.0 here . suddenly I cannot login with my password. CTRL+ALT+F1 I could login with my password ok. Command startx could not open the xserver. result showed that x server is broken Did a dpkg-reconfigure lightdm but could not login either at the welcome screen ( wiggle-wiggle) startx gives error = xinit server error= then I get a " timeout in locking authority file " /.Xauthority How to rebuild the xserver ? Thank you for any help !! SOLVED rm .Xauthority reinstalled greeter
