Hello, all! I recently installed elementaryOS for a friend and ended up liking it so much that I've installed it on one of my own laptops. While the overall experience is fantastic, the zoom-in menu animations are unfortunately making me seasick.

While I understand that animations can be completely disabled using a tweaks application, I very much like the rest of the OS' animations and would be sad to have to turn them all off. This particular animation appears to no longer be adjustable with org.pantheon.desktop.gala.animations.menu-duration, as this setting is listed as deprecated when I view it in the dconf editor. I'm wondering why this setting was deprecated, as the ability to set this duration to zero and have menus instantly appear would be extremely welcome.

Thanks for all your hard work and for considering my feedback!
