Installed elementary next to windows ten. Ticked required boxes to do so. I thought. Set password and finished installation. About one hour. Rebooted. But now after reboot, no windows ten. And password that worked before does not let me in. Everything was installed off of usb iso image of elementary. Help please...joecichjr@sbcglobal.net
Windows problem: Make sure that 'secure boot' is disabled in the BIOS If it didn't help do: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair Linux problem: <ctrl>+alt>+<F1> when the login screen appears then Code (Text): sudo apt-get install --reinstall elementary-desktop sudo apt-get install --reinstall pantheon-greeter
Ctrl Al f1 temporary shows a terminal but soon it flickers again. I can't have a non graphic terminal.
