I don't care if my monitor burns out (or whatever) but I use my computer almost constantly (I'm 69 and not in great health) and every time I turn around my new installation of Elementary 15.1 (updated via the terminal) is hibernating - the screen is black and I have to jerk around with the mouse, enter my password, etc. I just want it to stay "on" - period. I used the two power button settings and set them both to "never" (the "turn off display" thing, and, the "suspend" deal). And what's odd is this: I had this thing installed, for months, and buggered the system by installing something from the wrong repo. I installed, again, from the same USB card and updated the system from the command line - just as I'd done before. And for a couple of months, with this previous installation, the thing never did this stuff - it just stayed on. I Googled around and saw something about this issue, I think, and Nvidia graphics. I don't have a graphics card, at all. So am I doing something wrong, is this a bug, etc? Is there something I'm missing?
