I recently started using Freya and am liking it very much.
I've noticed that the desktop cursor disappears when the display is woken up after a period of inactivity.
The previously open windows are still displayed, but the cursor has become invisible. I know it is still there because I can highlight items in the etc. by using the track-pad.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?

    Many thanks,

    Sacha

    Hello Sacha

i think it is this issue: https://elementaryforums.com/index.php?threads/mouse-problem.1986/
One workaround is to switch to CRTL+ALT+F1 (TTY1) and back CRTL+ALT+F7 (TTY7)

Unfortunately some Ubuntu 14.04 derivate, beside elementary Freya, are affected too. The bugreport has been closed from Canonical with the remark "bug resolved with Ubuntu 16.04", they forgot all the 14.04 users :-/
