Dear friends, I have a problem with a dark theme in sudo mode (root) - for example Synaptic, file manager (.pkexec) etc. Same with the default cursor theme. Everything switches to light mode and the original cursor theme.
I changed the System Settings and Pantheon Tweaks in sudo mode, restart. No change...
Is it possible to change these default settings permanently using Terminal?
Otherwise, I enjoy the beautiful look of the system. Picking up the settings and having fun. For someone who is used to freedom of configuration within Gentoo, Arch, or MX Linux, this is sometimes a challenge ... :))
    Thanks a lot
    Dan

So I figured it out ... ... I ran the system settings, looked in the log of the running processes - voila!
    Sudo su, password, "io.elementary.switchboard-pkexec"
Now you can run sys. settings with root privileges, change dark mode, cursor theme etc.
You got same cursor from welcome screen. Synaptic, Gparted and other apps under sudo in dark mode.

There are plenty of procedures from Github, Reddit and elsewhere. Those just break the system... KISS rulez ; )
