    Hi all,

I recently discovered this nice Linux distro!

I know that I don't have to give my password after startup, as I choose for that option at the install of eOS.

But after a screen-lock, caused by the energy option to switch off the screen after a certain time of inactivity, that I configured myself, it still asks for my password!

I cannot configure in the energy settings also not to ask for a password after screen lock, as I can do in e.g. Ubuntu.

How can this be done in eOS?

    Thanks for answering!

    Hello Paulus,

This can be deactivated in System Settings > Security & Privacy > Locking.
    :)
    Found it?

    Lot Regards, paradise

    Hi paradise,

I found it! Thank you very much!;)

This is really an example how eOS is somehow just a little bit different compared to Ubuntu, but anyhow: I am glad this configuration DOES exist in the first place!

    Again: many thanks!:D

P.S. Unfortunately I cannot mark this threat as [SOLVED], otherwise I would have done so.
