Hi guys, I just installed beta 2 of elementary os freya and decided to install a light word processing program. Which is why I picked Abiword. Unfortunately, there is this strange black borders. Any of you have any idea how to fix this problem? Best regards
Wohoo, ElementaryOS has support forums? Well, non official, but for that i was waiting for !! I'm going to install AbiWord on my Beta2 this evening and try to reproduce this issue.
Unfortunately i'm absolutely not the GTK guy, its the first time I tried to start AbiWord with GTK debug mode through the terminal: Code (Text): abiword --gtk-debug=ALL It does open the debugger window which allows you to change on-the-fly this theme. I've no idea why it's black with elementary, it seems to be a simple bug that AbiWord does take some non good colors from the elementary theme? With the other theme it does change it's outer border to white. I think this is something for the bugtracker https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryos
we've made a bugreport at eOS https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryos/+bug/1437630 and later for abiword http://bugzilla.abisource.com/, both teams are saying the other project is responsible to resolve this template issue.... so, at this time not able to resolve, sorry.
