Answered Mouse pointer doesn't show after returning from hibernation

    Hi:
    This is a problem that started to show a few weeks ago. When my laptop returns from hibernation or sleep, the mouse pointer disappears. You can still move the mouse and you know when it goes to an area on the screen by the effect it causes, but the arrow is invisible. Now, by sheer luck I found out that by pressing F4 I can make it appear again, but I want to know if this is a problem or a bug in the OS. Please, advise.

    Hi williepabon,

    this is another thread about the same issue: Disappearing cursor

    there is a bug in the intel-driver, ubuntu&intel resolved that in ubuntu 16.04 and closed their burgeport and forgot ubuntu14.04 users.......
