    Hi Everyone,

I downloaded ElementaryOS onto a USB chip by downloading the ISO and Rufus. My HP EliteDesk computer let me boot from the USB chip and install ElementaryOS.

After installing ElementaryOS, when I turn on the computer, there is no option to boot ElementaryOS.

I am reading online that Windows 10 has all kinds of boot protection to ensure that Linux cannot be installed easily, I mean so that your computer is protected from evil people (like the ones who thought of this insane protection). Microsoft is a bunch of thugs.

Anyways... since my computer boots from USB, is it possible to make a USB chip boot my installed ElementaryOS operating system's grub file? Or is there a better work around?

Hey have you tried hitting F9 while its booting. This should bring up your boot manager and atleast get you into linux.
