Hello there. I decided to try with elementaryOS, mostly because of OS X-like GUI. I like to connect external monitor to my laptop via VGA cable, because the external one is 1080p, instead of laptop's 768p. First, I had a problem because OS didn't seem to allow me to select resolution higher than 1024x768. I solved it by adding custom resolution with xrandr. But now I would like to know how to use the external monitor as the main one, use the dock on it and other things, because it's bigger and it is in front of me. Any commands, system options?
