Hello, I setup a raid 0 on my computer, and I'm trying to install elemnetaryOS with it, but the installation fails every time. I can only access the live version, and if I try to install from the live version it also fails. Could anyone help solve this installation issue? Thanks a lot!
You should try to give the community as much information as you have. What kind of error messages or failures happens?
Ok, he's the deal I was able to install elementaryOS partially selecting the LVM option in the installation wizard, but in the end i got an error saying that it couldn't create the boot partition or something like that, so i think that i have elementaryOS installed but i have no way to boot into it. my HHD looks like this: Is this helpful ??? Is there anyway to fix it, right now i'm using the live version. Thanks a lot!
More info. When I try to install elementary in the usual way this is what i get: 1. 2. and finally... But when i select the LVM install, i can complete the installation but the boot doesn't work
I have same problem with Raid0 In the end of installation i have error create the boot partition. I can't close even error window coz buttons is not working. Now i have already installed without raid0. If i creating raid0 all hdd data will erase?
