Hey! I love the design of elementary so I thought I'd give it a go. Problem is: the system freezes immediately after I click on any icon or menu, right after booting up. I reinstalled it twice, both with proprietary and free drivers, with no success. I got no way of even touching the terminal or to do anything at all, the system just literally dies. My machine is a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop (i7 7700K, GeForce GTX1050 Ti, 8 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD). I think my hardware is quite common so it shouldn't cause this, but then what? :S Any help appreciated.
I would be looking at the health of your SSD, I had the same problem some time ago and it was mt SSD failing. The SSD was 1 week old.
