    Hey all,

I'm not sure how to go about debugging this. Hopefully it someone can point me in the right direction.

Every distro that I've tried on this desktop seems to have a lot of trouble suspending/shutting down. If suspend does work then it takes forever. On Elementary OS, it doesn't seem to work. I've included a syslog in this post that hopefully has more useful information. I just started tailing /var/log/syslog as I hit the suspend button (bound to the power key on my pc).

After the failure, my background was glitched out and network manager didn't work (fixable via `sudo service network-manager restart`).

If it matters, I'm using an NVidia 1070 with the proprietary graphics drivers. Getting Elementary OS up and running at all was a pretty big hurdle, constantly requiring me to drop to grub and blacklist module/nomodeset just to get something on the screen during install.
