I have installed freya some time ago, like a few weeks, and since then out of nothing there is an empty window appearing in the middle of my task and remaining there at least for 20 minutes, keeping itself on foreground (hence I cant see anything else on my screen) and I am unable to close it... because I couldnt open anything on foreground, I took a shot of it by my phone, although the image quality my look bad, you can still see what I mean anyone else had a similar issue before? how to prevent this window?
It looks so strange... Are you really sure, your eOS is 100% up2date? Maybe there are some errors displayed when you do "sudo apt-get update" "sudo apt-get upgrade" ?
well since my post it didnt happen again and i have made check with apt get-update/upgrade, but still clean as well... totally confused...
okay, it happened twice again, and i was able to see the previous screen before the "download elementary os" screen above... here is the previous screen which is prompted: any ideas how to avoid this? this is happening unexpectedly and forcing me to restart my laptop... this is quite annoying when it happens in the middle of a task or in the middle of a ssh connection to anywhere...
okay, found more clues, it happens each time i log in while wifi is on and connected... are there any ways to stop this? is it something with the systems settings or some app is forcing those screen to appear?
nobody else never had this at all? it has been still going on and it is quite annoying when it happens and puts the terminal to background in the middle of a ssh connection to server... I dont wanna switch to another distro but if there is no solution, seems like i have to
