    Hey ya all,
I installed elementary on my girlfriends Acer Aspire ES15. Everything looks good so far, except the keyboard configuration. We tried to setup a german keyboard layout - nothing fancy, just the german standard - but both Alt-keys don't work (with that I mean they're not recognized at all). I already tried changing the config using dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration to the std Pc105 and later explicitly to "Acer Laptop", but that did no seem to change anything. The thing that gives me wonders is we used the std105 on her previous system, linux mint, were everything worked fine.

We use elementary OS Hera 5.1

If someone has an idea, let me know.
    Thx
