Problem while booting into if I was using Windows in the earlier session

    Hi,

    I have a wierd problem while booting into Elementary OS if I was using Windows in the earlier session.

    I have a dual OS configuration With 4 HDDs. After using Windows, if I shutdown or restart and then try to boot into Elementary OS, I get this problem.

    In order to boot into E OS I have to perform 'error checking' on each drive (5 currently) before shutting down Windows or else, after selecting E OS in grub, E OS gets stuck in the black screen (the screen that appears before I enter my password to login).

    Can someone please suggest me a way to prevent or remove this from happening?
