It hungs here forever I guess it fails to ext4 format y 2nd HDD. That's where I want to install Elementary so I can keep my current OS too in a separate space BTW that's the "in place" install. If I boot to USB first also fails but with an error messages claiming that couldn't use HDD space. Maybe due to too many partitions on table. That's if I try to " install alongside with Windows 8" (I guess grub is able to detect windows bootloeader but actually it's W 8.1 ) If I try other option as "advanced" ( dunno. the last one option of install wizard ) I got the format utily GUI just to choose HDD but still it fails to install. This is what I'm doing in that step: . pick sdb2 (or whatever. I'm on Windows now) which is my 2ndary driver . (it's NTFS formatted so ) pressing "change" . Changing "don't use partition" to "some ext 4 ...something " (the very first option i got all over the others. at the top) . Setting as mount point \. . Ticking "format" . and.. that's it. After I press "continue" ( at least in spanish button says so) but again, when it reach the point it tries to formatt, just nothing happens. It could be there forever. I can see a very intermiten HDD activity ( and I mean my PC red light that can be USB transfer too (? ) So, what can I do? oh, btw, I can't remember exactly but partition table was kinda this: sda1 (empty space) sda1 (My HDD name 250 GB.. etc) Sd0 (Windows bootloader 300 MB (? ) ( yeah maybe sd0 was before sd1. just telling there was 5 entries or so) sdb... something (empty) sdb whatever MY HDD 80GB and I guess a 3rd... can't really tell... 5 or 6 Better Idea.
