Guys, I tried to install elementary os freya on my laptop. It was going well during the installation, but at the end a window suddenly popped up and said "executing 'grub-install /dev/sda' failed. this is a fatal error"
I've googled it but I still have no idea about it
    What should I do?
    Thanks..

    Hi thariqfarsha,
thats strange, the developers promised in their blog elementary 0.3.2.iso should now run without any grub-error, they re-wrote the code for installing. I don't know the solution, but if you already tried to install 0.3.2 until this error message, it may be an idea to install 0.3.1.iso as it has a complete different grub install code.

if you have time :) keep us updated

Hm, the official website and/or sourceforge doesn't provide 0.3.1 anymore :( Well, i've got found the images on my drive and will share it with you. You can give it a try.

Download Elementary OS 0.3.1 (outdated since 2015-12-09)

As i know, the most problems are with UEFI. The 32bit 0.3.1 doesn`t support that (bug) and the 64bit makes sometimes trouble too. therefore they made 0.3.2. What could be, if the 0.3.2 installation fails, it may works with 0.3.1 (never tested). After the installation just do sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade to get the patchlevel 0.3.2
