thank you, but please someone can tell us, how to upgrade to Odin 6.0 from Hera 5.1.7, because I read in various sites that is possible to do this through the appcenter but I update and nothing familiar happen. So what is the method to upgrade for truth. In the official page there's nothing about this. Please.
The elementary developers are not providing an upgrade path from Hera to Odin. There was also no upgrade path from 0.4 to 0.5 nor 0.3 to 0.4. Officially they say you need to reinstall elementaryOS with v6 Odin.
Hello Everyone, I have been with ElementaryOS a few years and have loved it so much until the release of 6.1 My God thought I was losing my mind a few times in the beginning! I wouldn't let me in after I just set it up and had the password written down! After wiping the system 3 times I figured out what was up! Seems the Folks at Elementary wanted to play Musical Password with us! I set Root Password, SU Password and you game as to which one the system will work with at any given time! Might as well flip a darn coin! But that is only one of the many problems! I love the feel and look of this version but come on Guys don't play Bill Gates over at MicroShaft Windblows and just throw the crap out whether it's working or not! Linux is better than that! I have never been a fan of Ubuntu but I am at the point that I am looking now! Crap this release should have come with a case of raid for all the bugs!
