I have had an issue I've been living with on Elementary for months, where by if I open too many Chrome tabs it crashes with the mouse moving super slow and the system locks up. This also happens with Firefox, but it is far more stable, perhaps because Chrome uses more resources. If I close a tab when it starts lagging before it locks up, it seems to be ok for a while, but then another open tab will kill it again. I am running the latest version of Elementary on a lenovo x220.
