I can't freaking install it like any other distribution? The installer crashes on "Running dpkg" and then I can't launch elementary afterwards... No other distro gives me this BS.. And Luna used to work... I did try re-downloading the image. I also did use Rufus to make the bootable USB. I also tried writing it to a DVD instead, still the same issue, the installation almost completes and gets to the "Running dpkg..." part when it then gives me a "The installation has crashed" notification. Upon restarting the computer, I am stuck on the Elementary OS boot screen. The logo just stays there forever and nothing happens. UEFI is disabled.
I FIXED MY PROBLEM! Upon booting the USB, I chose to "try Elementary". Then I went to GParted, removed every partition and created a new, blank one as EXT4 with all the available space. Then I applied the changes and clicked on the install icon. Now it's installing properly )))
