Greetings, i have a popup window that says authentication required to refresh system sources.I want to ask if it is legitimate and it originates from the elementaryOS or if it is some kind of malicious app that wants my user(root) password.If it is legit i'd like to tell me what it does and why it asks my pass and if it is not how can i get rid of it...thanks in andvance
Same here, anyone find out what the source of this is? It happens after coming back from sleep mode. Also my superuser password is not accepted.
Same observation here on a fresh install of Loki, at the latest today. I got 5 windows with the request to authenticate. There is a bug code allocated ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/appcenter/+bug/1617687 ) to this but no solution as far as i know. Update: the problem only appears for me after suspend, shut down the screen ( the other power management option for plugged in). mbr Pat
