    Hello,

I am using Freya for a long period now and I am very lucky with it. Now I'm thinking about an update to loki and got a view by using a live-cd. It looks, that the appcenter does not have much programmes and the Ubuntu software center is gone. When I open the appcenter I can't even find common programmes like Sylpheed or Libre Office or Thunderbird. Does Loki not use the Ubuntu repos anymore? How can I switch to them?

    Many thanks for your help.

    Regards, Dragomrak

    Have you upgrade the system
    Code (Text):
    sudo apt update
    sudo apt upgrade
Else I would recommend installing synaptic as the Software Center is still missing some things:
    Code (Text):
    sudo apt install synaptic

Many thanks for your answer. I'll do that and come back in case of problems.
