Recently I bough a headset A4Tech Bloody G501 and unfortunately it does not work.
So I googled a bit and found this tutorial

    https://www.onlinemictest.com/microphone-settings/ubuntu

    but it did not help.

I even tried to do custom input device in gstreamer-propertis like this
    alsasrc device="hw:1,0"
    Did not help as well.

    Here is my arecord output:

Could you advice me? How can I resolve this issue?
    Thank you.

P.S. Also giving you my audio setting screenshot.

    Hi there,

can you try it out in ElementaryOS 0.4 Loki? Elementary does overtake the Hardware Support mainly from Ubuntu, so my hope is that Loki - which is based on Kernel 4.4 - now does support this Headset.
    Let us know :)

I have solved it. It was simple.
    • Right click the volume icon in the tray near the clock area.
    • then go to the option play back devices.
    • right on the bloody speaker and make it as default or primary.
the problem was that the Windows was choosing the headphone jack as the default and letting the USB to not to work
