Hey, everyone I am new here and I am truly in love with Freya, but there is a pertinent issue that makes me love it a little less. Okay, so basically, at random times my screen freezes and then the screen becomes pixely and distorted and the only thing I can do to remedy this situation is by physically pressing the power button on my tower. This issue is getting worse and worse. I am in the middle of writing my research paper and *BOOM* freezing and pixel distortion. I am suspecting that it might be a video card issue because I had the same problem on Luna, but I forgot how I fixed the problem because it was such a long time ago. It is making my experience rather unpleasant, but I don't want to use any other OS besides Freya. I mean, I donated to download and this issue is making me a little upset. I am not sure if people are having the same issue, but I have searched and search google, but I have not encountered anyone with a similar issue. So, if someone could help, that would be great. Oh, I also did a clean install about 10 times and to no avail. After the screen freezes, the distortion looks like the two grainy camera photos linked to imgur. If someone could help, I would really appreciate it because I do not want to have to uninstall this beautiful OS. Thank you in advance! My apologies if I put this in the wrong place.
