I've been using elementary freya for about 3 months now and so far it was a breeze.

I have it installed alongside windows 10, on a separate ssd drive, and every time I want to boot to EOS i'm restarting windows 10 with the full shutdown command (shutdown /r /t 0) to disable hybrid mode and eliminate any drive mounting issues in EOS.

So far everything was fine but today, suddenly, EOS stopped recognizing my raid 0 which i have as storage device. The "drives" app in EOS shows my 2x1TB WD drives but the raid is not assembled.

The raid was working as normal since the os installation.
Is there any latest update that cause that or anything I can do to fix it and have my raid working on boot?

I should mention that I've initially assemble the raid from my motherboard's controller bios menu and on windows 10 is working just fine.

AFAK, if you have configured the RAID using BIOS tools, this should be transparent to any os. EOS should see only one drive of 2TB. Have you rechecked the bios config?

I had configure the raid from my motherboard's raid controller bios, using shift+I on boot to enter raid.
The thing is that at first EOS was seeing the raid as normal and all of a sudden it stopped.

Anyway, yesterday I've installed mdraid and used it to assemble the raid and configured it to do it on boot also.

But it is really bothering me that I have to install mdraid cause I wanted everything to work with EOS configuration and they did, until last week.
