Hi, I got this computer as a gift and it has elementary on it. All i want to do is play star trek online but it will not work on this system. So I have a windows 7 ISO but have done tons of research and tried a lot of ways but cannot make a windows boot usb stick or disk using this software. Should I give up?

Another option could be using wine on linux. Star Trek Online should run with wine 1.7.50 or newer :) This is a good option when you have a computer with enough power (newer CPU and graphic card), and you must have installed the proprietary driver (nvidia graphic cards recommended)
Install wine is easy: Install WINE Application
Install Proprietary driver is easy too: HowTo: Install NVIDIA/AMD Driver in ElementaryOS, the official way
WINE Manual for Star Trek: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19203
You maye need to read this, because it could need some winetricks things. just type after installing wine in your terminal "winetricks ie8" for example, that would install the ie8 libraries which are requried for the Star Strek Launcher.

    Hope it helps :)

    Start AnyBurn
Insert the USB drive you intend to boot from.
Click the button, "Create bootable USB drive". ...
If you have a Windows 7 installation ISO file, you can choose "Image file" for the source, and select the ISO file. ...
Click "Next" button to start creating windows 7 bootable USB drive.
