Hello Everyone, I have been with Elementary OS a few years and have loved it so much until the release of 6.1 My God thought I was losing my mind a few times in the beginning! I wouldn't let me in after I just set it up and had the password written down! After wiping the system 3 times I figured out what was up! Seems the Folks at Elementary wanted to play Musical Password with us! I set Root Password, SU Password and you game as to which one the system will work with at any given time! Might as well flip a darn coin! But that is only one of the many problems! I love the feel and look of this version but come on Guys don't play Bill Gates over at MicroShaft Winblows and just throw the crap out whether it's working or not! Linux is better than that! I have never been a fan of Ubuntu but I am at the point that I am looking now! Crap this release should have come with a case of raid for all the bugs! I have tried and tried to get the mail to work and not matter what I do it's won't connect with Yahoo or Gmail where I can send email! Then I have to play videos non-stop or it goes to sleep mode and stops my mining programs and then I'm losing money but a fix for that was Just create a long play list in VLC and keep it playing in a continuous loop! I sure they come up with fixes for many of these problems before I just flat jump ship! Oh and people I never use the free version! I pay for every version I use! I was real fond of several versions but I think this has been my favorite flavor so far! Another close was Zorin OS and I was with them for several versions and several years and they release a version that was so buggy I hit the road and will never go back! Once a version comes out that buggy I won't go back because if they do it once they will do it again!
Well very sad to say this but Elementary is not in the same ranks as Zorin OS! I will never install or try this useless crap again! I got tired of all the bullshit and wiped the drive and went on with Ubuntu as I have never tried it! So far I am enjoying it very much and the nice thing no more worthless Musical Password from that useless crap!
