    Hi
First of all, congratulations for the team who made ElementaryOS, my experience has been nothing but a great one.
But I have this problem: sometimes when I'm working with it, the screen goes black for 2 seconds, and throws me at the log in screen, and when I log in, all the applications are closed. At first it was Ok I think, but now it's getting annoying. I can identify that it happens for example when I use Spotify, so I open a playlist in it, and happens the problem that I described previously. I've tried reinstalling Spotify, but had no success.
    Best Regards
    J

    Hi,

I know this post is old but I came around it and was frustrated to not find a solution.

Just updating the graphic repository worked for me.

For Nvidia GPUs, this is the process:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/elementaryos/comments/a4382w/nvidia_driver_update/

If command 3 does not work, it is likely that the add-apt-repository command is not available. You would need to install the software-properties-common package:

    sudo apt-get install software-properties-common

    Hope this helps!
