Good evening! Discovered an odd problem this morning. Clicked on my bookmark for the Weather Channel (weather.com) and absolutely nothing happened? Tried typing it into the address box and...absolutely nothing happened. Tried accessing it through Google, nothing happened! Every other bookmarked site or typed in site opens beautifully. Now my wife's computer also runs Elementary OS and guess what....hers opens weather.com just fine. Would someone be so kind as to explain what he heck has happened? Many thanks in advance....DEA

Ok....several have looked, but no replies. So perhaps I'm in the wrong area of the Forum.
Would someone be so kind as to direct me to where I might get some help?
    Thanks! Don

    Newbie observation here:

I looked at the 10 most recent posts: 3495 views.....only 15 replies....several with no replies at all, including mine.

    So here is a thought:

Nothing spells exasperation for a newbie more than going onto a forum, politely asking a question, even asking if there was a more appropriate place to ASK the question, and not getting one reply or redirection in two days.

I have been on several car forums for several years, and it is not unusual to get a answer....or even be told where to go (!) in minutes or hours.

It certainly may be that the Elementary OS forum is more of an esoteric site than say, one for a car brand, but all my friends told me that people on Linux forums fall all over themselves trying to help...especially if it seems like a problem they haven't seen before. A moderator usually is the first to reply in my experience. If it is a problem that shows up constantly, even THEN someone will tell the newcomer to check out this area or that of the website.

Not trying to be critical, but just putting it out as food for thought.

    Thanks!

    Don
