No audio from S/PDIF

    Hello,
    I was using Windows 10 for quite some time now, switched to Linux Mint yesterday and noticed I don't get any sound over my S/PDIF anymore. Tried fixing it in numerous ways, none of them worked. Switched to Ubuntu afterwards, same problem. Now I am using ElementaryOS and it still does not work... Any advices? ^^ Thanks in advance :)

    Can you post what sound card you have? most likely some configuration or a specific driver maybe needed.
    The following command should list out your sound card.
    Code (Text):
    lspci | grep -I audio
