Hello, i have installed Hera on my custom desktop pc no problem, i can update and use the appcenter just fine. however, today i installed hera on my lenovo y50 touch and right after a fresh install(dual boot with windows 10) it was giving me problems with sudo apt update as well as appcenter "failed to fetch updates." there are some apps that i can install, but i was made aware when i went to install eddy and it said "the package id's were not valid." I even had a problem manually installing a deb file with terminal that i had downloaded. just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there is a known way to fix it. thank you FYI, i did use "sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales" and selected the default "UTF-8' choices. didnt work. Hello, I have the same problem on a fresh install, I tried to disable IPv6 - no success I tried to disable all ppas from elementary - no success Maybe this pandemic time broke something in the launchpad or it's a gpg bug, I really want to know how to fix this
Hi, Same problem here. It seems that "hera" does not exist in those repos. For example if you look the "page" http://ppa.launchpad.net/elementary-os/stable/ubuntu/dists/ As far as I have understood there should be folder "hera". I fixed this by changing "hera" to "bionic" in apt-lists that cased errors but I have no idea if it is the correct fix for the problem. I installed this OS just few days ago so I do not have much experience about Elementary but I have used Ubuntu before
