    Hi,
Having installed elementaryOS for the first time, thought I would post my first impressions.

First of all, installation felt like a real pain - in reality, I don't think it was; I think what has happened is that Microsoft have worked very very hard on the installation experience for Windows and that is now the gold standard.

Once it was installed - it took me about 10 minutes to find my way around. I found installing things tricky at first (weird going all hacker like into the command prompt) but is actually quite easy when you follow the instructions online. The biggest fact is though I don't think you need to install much. If you have Firefox or Chrome, then SO much today runs in the browser you don't need anything else. Thanks to 365, you get all of MS Office - plus OneDrive, but without all the distractions.

What everyone says about the look is correct, it's really clean and SO FAST. It's a great OS for day to day internet and office work.

    Congratulations everyone!

Anyway 365 is not necessary if you install LibreOffice. If it's yours first Linux than installation can be difficult. Good Luck :)
