Can Wingpanel get hiding functionality added such as "hide intelligently" and "wingpanel-slim" ? I understand not wanting to complicate things for new users, but having those settings available for the rest of us would be very much welcomed. Thanks.

To do this we go to System Settings> Applications> Start , click on Add, and insert the custom command . sh /usr/bin/wingautohide.sh
Sorry to say I don't know. I didn't even originate the above, I only found it in my search as a way to reclaim a little more screen real estate. I'll continue to look though.......
