Right, so I currently have Windows 8.1 installed on one SSD and ubuntu 14.04 on the other and I have grub as a selection menu to choose which OS to boot.

The problem is that some time ago (not sure when) my linux OS became corrupted and unusable, not sure why to be honest, I hadn't used it for a while and did so and then the OS just refused to go to the login screen, just got stuck during load up.

Any way, point is I've been eyeing up elementary and decided what the hell, so with all that in mind, How do I go about installing elementary OS on my second SSD, bearing in mind I have grub and Ubuntu installed (if broken).

Just, what should I be aware of or any tricks to make the instillation process less painful, etc.

P.s. The website is broken for me on chrome, It logs me in (via face-book) and then instantly logs me out.

Well, I'm using chrome and for me the site works perfectly.
Anyway, about your question. The installation is pretty simple, I think is the same one from Ubuntu's.
The best way you can go with it is, deleting all partitions but leaving the Windows one, then select that free space to make a new one. Using that new one to install it you should get the distro and a new grub to.
