First off, I love EOS. My install has a primary 250gb SSD, a secondary 250gb SSD for additional program space and a 300gb spindle drive primarily used for backup and picture storage. Both of my secondary drives show up upon boot, I can add files to them and they are totally accessible. The issue is when I attempt to install a Steam game or a Wine game into the secondary 250gb hard drive, it shows it in the drive as installed, but if I reboot and load the game, it will ask to reinstall, even though the files are still listed on that drive. Even if I try to run the exe right from the drive, it still will not open and acts like it was never installed.
This same issue I am having with the default photo app that is preinstalled. All of my photos are on the 300gb drive. When I first open the photo app, I choose it to point to a different location for my photos to the 300gb hard drive, it then imports into the program, yet the same thing happens. I will reboot and when I open the photo app, my pictures go away and I have to import them once again into the program. Please help. thanks.

Well I figured this out. I had to use gdisk and delete my secondary drive, which is primarily my steam installs. When I partitioned the hard drive, I had to make sure it auto mounted on boot and formatted as ext4. I was then able to go into steam settings, then open up downloads and add a library location to point it to my secondary drive as default, keeping my primary drive as a secondary. I installed a game, rebooted and it worked! My installed game stayed, and steam remembered the library location. It amazing that when you take a break from and issue for a day, how clearly the resolution then becomes clear.
