My computer freezes completely every now and then. I do nothing heavy on resources, plain browsing the internet reading articles.

When system freezes there is NOTHING I can do. Mouse not moving, I cannot call a virtual console, NOTHING.

Only solution is the hardware reset button.

My configuration is 120 gb ssd gigabyte A320M-s2h amd ryzen 3 2200 g (radeon vega 8 mobile grfx) 8gb memory.

Any ideas what I can do?

Replying to say I'm having the same issue. Syslog is reading
"Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 for xxxxxxx"

Multiple different programs are triggering this as well, so I dont think it comes down to one specific program.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

it can often indicate a problem with your computer's hardware. It could be your hard drive, an overheating CPU, bad memory or a failing power supply.

It maybe because u have allowed the 3rd party software installation.. not necessary it's bad but it may cause triggering some files and causing issue.. try reinstalling the os
