Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue that I can't solve. Dropbox desnt' show the tray icon when running, so I can't pause/sto sync, and I can't see if and which files are loading. Any help please? Dropbox is a fundamental tool for my work
I've same issue, i'had tried with a pure dropbox installation and with this workaround working on loki (https://github.com/hectorm/elementary-dropbox), without succes..... i'had read in past that the system tray will work on the next EOS version, last month comes EOS Juno but seems the problem still remain. Someone know how to make Dropbox functionally?
https://github.com/mdh34/elementary-indicators/blob/master/README.md I'm trying this solution withous success. For me it's impossible to use this OS without Dropbox working. If so, I must come back to Ubuntu.
I've given up on Dropbox ever since their 3 device policy limit recently but from past experience I believe that as long as Dropbox is running (started) you can copy files to and from your Dropbox folder and the files will still sync. It is unfortunate that there is no provision for the "tray icon" for Dropbox or for my PIA VPN icon. :-(
